License & Use – Toki & Bloki

This page explains the licensing and usage terms for the children’s book project “Toki & Bloki – The Hidden World of Little Sparks – Book 1” and all related content.

1. Copyright & Intellectual Property

All content of this project is protected by European and international copyright law. This includes in particular:

the characters Toki, Bloki, Gasi, Walleta,
the world “The Hidden World of Little Sparks”,
all texts, illustrations, maps, designs, and the overall concept.

2. What is NOT allowed?

Without explicit written permission from the copyright holder, it is strictly prohibited to:

copy, redraw, reproduce, or redistribute texts, images, or characters,
use the characters or world in other books, games, apps, videos, or products,
use any part of the material for commercial purposes,
use the content for automated data analysis or AI training.

3. What IS allowed?

The following uses are allowed without additional permission:

private reading and reading aloud at home,
use within a family setting,
showing individual pages in schools or kindergartens, as long as no copies are published online.

For public readings in schools, libraries, or similar events, a simple permission request by email is sufficient.

4. Licensing & Cooperation Requests

A separate written agreement is required for:

translations into other languages,
use of the characters in teaching materials, apps, games, or videos,
merchandise (posters, cards, T-shirts, digital products),
any other commercial use.

5. EU-wide applicability

These terms apply throughout the European Union and supplement national copyright laws. Copyright protection exists automatically from the moment of creation. Use without permission remains prohibited even outside Germany.
